Background

In an effort to transform Hawaii enthusiasts into an army of effective destination markers residing in Japan, the Aloha Program was created, offering an online educational platform that inspires a deep appreciation of Hawaii’s unique culture, natural beauty and local community.

Aloha Program has successfully grown to 63,000 members, 21,000 Hawaii specialists and 391 satellite offices throughout Japan.

Impact

Aloha Program has successfully grown to 63,000 members, 21,000 Hawaii specialists and 500 satellite offices throughout Japan. The educational program serves as a training curriculum for travel professionals to become ambassadors of the Hawaii brand to expand promotional reach. Proceeds from the program are donated to local nonprofit organizations, connecting Aloha Program members to our island communities.
